Respectfully, I must disagree with Michael Deacon on assisted suicide. He was convinced by Sir Terry Pratchett?s Dimblebly lecture which (very movingly) argued that 'assisted death' is compassionate and should be legalised. Sir Terry also noted that the 'God argument' doesn?t work for atheists.
