Last week, Microsoft Corp. donated $100,000 to Washington Families Standing Together, a gay-rights organization pushing the passage of Referendum 71 in the state of Washington. Referendum 71, if passed, would extend legal protections and rights to domestic partnerships equivalent to that of legally married couples, directly undermining marriage and opening the door for same-sex marriage.
