With stories now becoming too numerous to document, the war against religious liberty seems to accelerate with each passing week.
But two episodes in the last week deserve extra attention because they demonstrate that there now appears to be no limit to how far the opponents of religious liberty are willing to go in requiring every individual—even Pastors, Imams, and Rabbis—to affirm same-sex marriage and other basic tenets of the sexual revolution.

This week, Republican delegates are meeting in committee to lay out the 2016 version of their party’s platform document ― a non-binding declaration of #squadgoals that will generate a few days of stories like this one before being largely forgotten. The Church, which already educates more than a million children in England, currently runs just 10 free schools with another eight about to open.

Theresa May's review of sharia courts has been branded a “whitewash” before it has even begun, with more than 200 individuals and human rights groups signing an open letter urging her to dismantle the panel chosen to oversee the inquiry.
They claim that by appointing an Islamic scholar as chair and placing two imams in advisory roles, the panel’s ability to make an impartial assessment of how religious arbitration is used to the detriment of women’s rights will be seriously compromised.
