A radical and risky stem cell therapy has been shown to halt and even reverse some of the symptoms of those worst affected by multiple sclerosis, a disease that in many people has proved untreatable.
Doctors in Canada conducted an experimental stem cell transplant with 24 patients who were expected to be confined to a wheelchair within 10 years. After receiving the treatment most of the patients regained control of their lives, becoming able to walk, play sport and drive.

Britain must stop forcing children to attend Christian school assemblies because it undermines their human rights, a United Nations committee has said in a controversial new report.
The authors called on ministers to repeal a law demanding a daily act of Christian worship at schools because it may contradict a child's "freedom of thought, conscience and religion".

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) found that reviews into such cases often excluded parents – in a quarter of cases they did not even know an investigation was taking place – and impartial experts.

The Senate narrowly rejected an amendment Thursday that would have required a Superior Court judge to approve requests for euthanasia or assisted suicide from individuals who are not near death.
Conservative Senator Claude Carignan’s proposed amendment was defeated 37 to 32, with four Senators abstaining, after four hours of debate.

It seems like the homosexual lifestyle, clearly prohibited among Christians, has permeated American society.
The number of Americans who experimented with homosexual activities have doubled over the past 24 years, the National Opinion Research Center's General Social Survey (GSS) revealed.
Based on this poll, only 4.25 percent of Americans engaged in gay activities back in 1973. By 2014, this number alarmingly skyrocketed to 8.5 percent of the 28,000 survey respondents who openly shared their sexual experiences.
