Dr Joe Boot, Director of the Wilberforce Academy, discuss how William Wilberforce's Christian faith impacted his political career.
Dr Boot says he "lived a passionate Christian life, but it was integrated - he didn't leave it at the door of the church or the house when he went to Parliament. He took it with him." He adds that Wilberforce's motivation for abolishing the slave trade came from the recognition that to God, all lives matter, and that Christ came to set us free.
