Two babies saved in Twickenham

Printer-friendly version
Two babies have been saved in Twickenham as a result of this year's 40 Days for Life campaign which started in the UK just three days ago.

Please join us in praising God for the two lives saved!

Please also pray for the 40 Days for Life campaign which is running from 25th September to 3rd November in 7 different locations (Twickenham, London, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Leeds, Manchester and Milton Keynes).

The campaign is a cross-denominational, faith-based effort made up of three key components:
  • Prayer and fasting: Inviting people of faith throughout our city to join together for 40 days of fervent prayer and fasting for an end to abortion
  • Peaceful vigil: Standing for life through a 40-day peaceful, prayerful, public witness outside the local BPAS, 32-6 Romford Road, Stratford, London, E15 4BZ and BPAS, 15 Rosslyn Road, East Twickenham, Middlesex, TW1 2AR. To find your local city campaign see http://www.goodcounselnet.co.uk/40-Days-for-Life.html
  • Community outreach: Taking a positive, upbeat pro-life message to every corner of our city through media efforts, church presentations, door-to-door advocacy, and public visibility
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign which generates measurable life-saving results. So far, 40 Days for Life campaigns have been conducted in 501 communities in 19 nations. More than 7,500 children have been reported as saved from abortion. Local abortion numbers have dropped – by as much as 28%. Post-abortive women (and men) are finding healing and forgiveness. In each city, hundreds -- more than 1,000 in some cases -- are getting involved with local life-saving ministry efforts for the first time.
