'Trans' Jesus play shown in Manchester church

Printer-friendly version

The Bishop of Manchester refused to block the staging of a play last Sunday depicting Jesus as a transgender 'woman'.

The play, which involved images of same-sex couples kissing and 'Jesus' referring to God as 'Mum', was staged at St Chrysostom's church. Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali has spoken out in criticism of the play.

Please contact the Bishop of Manchester, David Walker, to challenge him for permitting this blasphemous play to be shown in a church building.
