Academies Bill Update

Thank you for your prayers:  the amendment tabled by Baroness Massey of Darwen with the intention of making PSHE (including sex education) a curriculum requirement for Academies was defeated by 89 votes.  If passed, it would have meant that all schools that decide to become Academies would have had to provide compulsory sex education, including primary schools.
