A survey of more than 2000 parents suggests that only around a third of schools will offer a full, traditional Nativity play this Christmas. Siobhan Freegard, co-founder of Netmums, the parenting website that carried out the survey, said, "it seems wrong to bombard kids with commercial messages about presents and Santa without them realising the true meaning of the celebration."
