Humanists secure ban on Christian book

A Christian book described as a “fun and friendly guide to moving to secondary school" will no longer be given to pupils leaving a Scottish primary school following a complaint from the Humanist Society of Scotland.
The group claims that Scripture Union's 'It's your move' book could 'cause distress' for some children. The move has been described as 'petty and vindictive' by David Robertson, the Moderator Designate of the Free Church of Scotland.
