Disability group to protest suicide bill

Printer-friendly version

Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) has announced that it will protest against Rob Marris' Assisted Dying Bill when MPs vote on it on 11 September. "Before we give disabled people assistance to kill ourselves we want the assistance to live," the group said.

DPAC joins a host of other disability rights groups that oppose assisted suicide. "The vulnerable are most at risk from this dangerous bill. We must fight for the protection of all human life made in God's image," said Andrea Williams.
