Christians in politics 'under pressure'

Dave Thompson, MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch, has spoken about how Christians in politics come under pressure for their faith. "I think there has been pressure on politicians in recent years to be very quiet about it, to hide it," he said.
He noted that new Lib Dem leader, Tim Farron, faced tough questions from the media about his Christian faith. Mr Thompson said his own "approach to social justice" stems from his faith.
