Call to prayer as first same-sex 'marriages' take place in Britain

Executive Secretary of Anglican Mainstream, Revd Andrew Symes, has called on churches and Christian individuals to pray for the nation on 29th March when legislation introducing same-sex 'marriage' will come into force in England and Wales.

"This is not prayer against gay people" he says, "but prayer for the nation, lamenting and repenting on behalf of the nation at a time when a profoundly wrong idea has taken hold."
