The Christian lobbyist who led a campaign to defeat a proposal to introduce same-sex ‘marriage’ in Australia says Christians have to demonstrate to politicians that they are a key constituency.
Brigadier Jim Wallace left a 32-year military career to launch the Australian Christian Lobby which defeated the same-sex ‘marriage’ law by a massive 2-to-1 majority. He says that the Christian constituency is much more united than other voter groups such as the ‘green’ lobby.
He told Garry Selfridge of Christian Concern that worshippers in Britain should engage with their church leaders and hold them to account where their words and actions do not reflect the Biblical view.
