Brendan O'Neill, editor of Spiked Online, explains in a guest post why he is opposed to same-sex 'marriage', in light of recent debates in Australia. He comments further that, unlike the historical campaign against slavery, "there’s no disguising the illiberalism, elitism and plain weirdness of the gay-marriage contagion."
