The US Supreme Court is to rule this year on whether there is a constitutional right to same-sex 'marriage' across the country, according to reports.
The Court will hear a combined case brought by individuals from four states where same-sex 'marriage' is banned - Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. Same-sex 'marriage' is currently recognised in 36 states and the District of Columbia. The Court is due to hear the case in April and expected to rule in June.
