Association of Christian Counsellors says therapeutic support for unwanted same sex attraction "unethical"

Printer-friendly version

The Association of Christian Councillors (ACC) has issued a statement to its members describing therapy for those who want to move away from unwanted same sex attraction as "unethical" and "incompatible" with the 2010 Equality Act.

Dr Mike Davidson of Core Issues Trust, a Christian charity which offers therapy for those who voluntarily seek change in sexual preference and expression, has published  a detailed response to the statement challenging the ACC's claims.
