President Obama has backed calls to prevent therapeutic help for unwanted same-sex attraction being offered to those under 18.
But those offering such therapy have defended it. David Pickup, a US family therapist explained:"We believe that change is still possible. People go to therapy because they can change, because it really does work ... We help people grow into their authentic selves." You can find out more about the issues at Tuesday's conference.
