SORs impact Christian GPs and fostering agencies
6th February 2007
Summary
Freedom for Christians to live according to the bible’s teachings on sexual practice has been compromised by the impact of the Sexual Orientation Regulations.
Please read the press release (see link below) about a GP who is calling for the SORs to have a conscience exemption for doctors, in the same way as the current abortion legislation.
Please also read the press release (see link below) from a Christian fostering agency, which confirms that the SORs will worryingly impact not just Catholic agencies, but those from all Christian denominations.
The judgment decision on the Andrew McClintock case (the Christian magistrate seeking the right to refuse to adopt children into same-sex ‘families’) has been made, but we have been informed that it will be up to 28 days before we are given the decision. We will keep you informed as soon as we have further details.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY AND ACT ON ALL THESE IMPORTANT ISSUES. WE MUST CONTINUE TO STAND FOR CHRISTIAN FREEDOM AND THE RIGHT TO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE’S TEACHING.
