Christians can counter anti-Christian culture in arts and politics

Printer-friendly version

An American philosopher and pastor lecturing to an audience of Christians in London, has urged Christians to get involved in professions such as journalism and politics in order to stand up to a modern culture hostile to their faith.

Revd Joel Pelsue, founder of the Los Angeles-based Arts and Entertainment Ministries, specialises in equipping Christians for careers in an industry which he says is a challenge for people of faith who want to uphold Biblical values.

He told his audience gathered at the offices of Christian Concern, that for too long Christians had withdrawn from a culture which was highly influential, with the result that Christians were left impotent to express their views in the mass media industry.

In this short film Revd Pelsue explains how he tackles the challenge of speaking about Jesus Christ in every area of public life.  Watch it here >
