First woman bishop expected 'next year'

William Fittall, the General Secretary of the Church of England's General Synod has told the BBC that he would be 'surprised' if the first female Bishop weren't announced in 2015.

He expects the Synod to pass an amendment to Canon law allowing the consecration of women as Bishops, 'in minutes' in November.
