Walt Heyer: People aren't born transgender

Walt Heyer lived as a transgender 'woman' for eight years, but returned to his birth gender after finding his sex 'change' brought him no peace. He gives his unique perspective on The Danish Girl, a film about a Danish artist, Einar Wegener, who underwent sex 'reassignment'.

Walt says the film tries to sell the rationale for transgenderism, but warns: "Transgender patients continue to suffer even after surgery, because their psychological problems remain untreated".
