The Scottish Government and the Scottish Police are running a hate crime awareness campaign by putting up various posters addressed to ‘bigots’, ‘homophobes’, ‘transphobes’ and others. Tim Dieppe discusses the issues involved, looking at what is a ‘hate crime’, a ‘hate incident’, and who these posters are addressed to. He concludes that the worst of these posters constitutes state anti-Christian propaganda which is intended to intimidate and threaten Christians.
Dear 'One Scotland',
Do you really think that churches are teaching people to be hateful towards others? Or to be violent towards people we disagree with? Why not pop into a church sometime and find out what we really think?
Love, Some Christian friends
