As the UK has chosen secular humanism over the Christian faith, society has suffered greatly in a variety of ways, from the breakdown of the family to the increased sexualisation of children and widespread alcohol and drug abuse. At Christian Concern we are determined to serve society by promoting Biblical legislation and a vision of society shaped by Jesus Christ. We believe in the protection of the vulnerable and the promotion of marriage, the family and the local church as the bedrock of society.

    Leading civil liberties organisation ‘Index on Censorship’ has called for the word ‘insulting’ to be removed from the Public Order Act on the basis that the word’s inclusion in legislation has “a corrosive effect on free speech” in the UK.

    One in every 11 children in Britain is unhappy, according to a report published by the Children’s Society. The detailed, 60 page report however does not mention the word ‘marriage’ once, leading to criticism that the charity, which has close ties to the Church, is now reluctant to uphold marriage as the best environment for raising children.

    A senior High Court Judge, Sir Paul Coleridge, has announced plans to launch a £150,000-a-year marriage campaign to tackle increasing divorce rates in Britain and bring an end to the "appalling and costly impact of family breakdown".
