A Conservative MP has warned that 'anti-terror' laws could be used against Christian teachers who say that same-sex 'marriage' is wrong.
Responding to a Christian constituent, Mark Spencer MP said that such views could constitute "hate speech" in some contexts under new 'Extremism Disruption Orders' (EDOs). "This exposes the deep flaws of the proposed EDOs. They are supposed to tackle Islamic terrorism but will end up wrongly penalising Christians," said Andrea Williams.
