Severely disabled crossbench peer, Baroness Jane Campbell, spoke movingly in last week's House of Lords' debate, about her opposition to assisted suicide.
She spoke of her own experience of periods "when one grows weary and one’s spirits are low" and the importance of hope and the help of others, before going on to describe Lord Falconer's bill as having "all the makings of a law for the strong at the expense of the weak."
