A cross-party group of 60 MPs has called on the government to increase funding for end of life care. The MPs issued their call in a letter published in The Times. It follows the comprehensive defeat of Rob Marris' dangerous Assisted Dying Bill in the House of Commons earlier this month.
Andrea Williams commented: "This is an important step. True compassion is looking after the weak and vulnerable, not allowing them to be killed."
