MPs have voted emphatically against Rob Marris' dangerous Assisted Dying Bill, defeating it by 330 votes to 118. The 74% of opposing votes is even higher than the proportion who voted against a similar bill in 1997 (72%).
"This is a great moment," said Andrea Williams. "MPs have sent a clear message that this bill presented a serious threat to vulnerable people. Thank you to everyone who made a difference by contacting their MP. We give God all the glory."
