Celestina Mba

Celestina Mba, a Christian children’s worker, resigned from her job at Brightwell Children’s Home in London after being put under pressure to work on Sundays. Prior to starting her job, Ms Mba informed her employer that she was unable to work on Sundays owing to her Christian faith. She had been allowed Sundays off for two years after which her employer sought to change the arrangement, forcing her to choose between her job and her Christian observance.
