Mike Davidson Core Issues Trust, a Christian charity which offers therapeutic support for men and women dealing with unwanted same-sex attraction, was prohibited by the Mayor of London from running adverts on London buses reading “Not gay! Ex-Gay, Post-Gay and Proud. Get over it!”. The adverts were in response to those run by homosexual lobby group Stonewall, saying: “Some people are gay. Get over it!” The Trust had their adverts approved by the advertising authorities, but following a leak to the Guardian newspaper, Boris Johnson personally intervened to stop them from being displayed just hours before they were due to become public.

This past Wednesday Vue Cinemas paid an undisclosed fee for breach of contract to Core Issues Trust for its last-minute cancellation of the ex-gay documentary film Voices of the Silenced.
