Christian couple, Jeff and Sue Green, have been accused of discriminating against same-sex couples by operating a ‘married couples only’ policy for their double rooms at their guesthouse in Wales. They are taking their case directly to the European Court of Human Rights because of the serious, long-term implications for Christians in the public sphere, and because they believe that they have no prospect of success in the British court system to allow them to run their business in line with their Christian conscience.
