Richard Page

Richard Page was removed as a magistrate for saying that a child’s best interests lie in being raised by a mother and a father.

Having served as a magistrate in Kent for 15 years, Richard faced disciplinary action for expressing the view during a closed-door consultation with colleagues in a routine adoption case. After telling his story and publicly repeating his view, Richard was removed from the magistracy and blocked from returning to his role at an NHS trust.
