A British Airways employee, suspended for wearing a cross, defends Sarah Kuteh

Former Christian Legal Centre client Nadia Eweida, speaking on BBC Radio Sussex, defends the case of nurse Sarah Kuteh, who was fired for discussing faith with patients as part of a pre-op assessment questionnaire.

Nadia Eweida, a British Airways employee, was supported by the Christian Legal Centre at the Employment Tribunal after she was suspended for refusing to remove her cross necklace. She eventually won her case after taking it to the European Court of Human Rights.

Commenting on Sarah’s case, she says: "You're forgetting the heritage of the United Kingdom as being a Christian country, and I would liken Sarah Kuteh to that of Florence Nightingale, who answered the call of God."
