LGBT adoption figures show sharp rise

The number of children being adopted by same-sex couples has more than doubled in the last four years, rising to 320 last year, representing 5% of all adoptions.
Magistrate Richard Page was recently disciplined for stating, during an adoption case, that a child's best interests lie in being raised by a mother and a father.
