Egg freezing 'parties' for women

The BBC has reported on the growing US trend of egg freezing parties for women who want to delay having children.
The parties are usually hosted by companies offering egg harvesting and storage services. Women can have their eggs frozen as a way of "preserving" their fertility as they grow older. "These parties treat children as a commodity," said Andrea Williams. "Children are not products that we choose whenever we like. This marketing is selling a dangerous lie."
