The Conservative MP for Congleton, Fiona Bruce, has called on the government to keep its commitment of using a 'family test' for each proposed piece of legislation.
In August 2014, the government said it would examine all new policies in light of their likely impact on family life. But Mrs Bruce said: "I don't think they're taking it seriously at all," and also highlighted the urgent need for the test to be applied to proposed changes to Sunday trading laws.
