More than 100,000 people took to the streets of Paris and Lyon on Sunday to protest against the introduction of same-sex 'marriage' and proposals to legalise medical procedures that will allow same-sex couples to have children.
President Francois Hollande, who has suffered near record low poll ratings, has postponed further social reforms which demonstrators have described as "family-phobic", until after next month’s municipal elections.
