Stonewall’s 7th annual conference entitled ‘Education for All’ took place yesterday (5 July) at the British Library. Members of Christian group Core Issues Trust took this opportunity to hold a peaceful protest outside the venue in order to put forward an alternative view and challenge Stonewall’s narrative.

On 3 June, campaign group Care Not Killing, of which Christian Concern is a member, held a rally and mass lobby of Parliament in order to promote better palliative care and oppose the legalisation of assisted suicide and euthanasia.

A new draft Bill recommending assisted suicide, and a consultation on the draft, have been launched this week by euthanasia lobby group ‘Dignity in Dying’ (formerly the Voluntary Euthanasia Society) with the assistance of Parliamentary group ‘Choice at the End of Life’.
The Government owned Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, and the Law Society, are both to be taken to court after they cancelled a conference which was due to discuss the redefinition of marriage.
