Family

Marriage and the family form the bedrock of society, yet have suffered greatly as a result of the UK choosing secular humanism over the Christian faith. There has been a great increase in family breakdown, and the concept of marriage itself as a covenant between a man and a woman for life has been under sustained assault. At Christian Concern we campaign for legislation that supports traditional marriage and the family, for the benefit of the whole of society.

That claim is that feelings of being discriminated against for homosexual behaviour must determine what everyone else is allowed to do. So the law must be used to suppress the traditional understanding of marriage — that it is between a man and a woman, especially for the benefit of children — because that makes homosexual people feel excluded.
