A judge has ruled that a Leeds-based Catholic adoption agency must be prepared to place children with same-sex couples if it is to retain its charitable status.
A High Court judge has warned of the emotional damage to children that can result from complicated parenting arrangements involving homosexual couples deciding to have children through IVF.
The judge made the comments in a ruling which concluded a case between a male and a female couple over parenting rights.
