As Christians, our whole lives are to be lived to God’s glory - at home, in the workplace, and in all of our relationships and activities. Although Christian Concern focuses on the other areas mentioned, there are many other areas where we also campaign for Biblical values to be applied in society. The Bible has relevance in every area of our culture.

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

    One in every 11 children in Britain is unhappy, according to a report published by the Children’s Society. The detailed, 60 page report however does not mention the word ‘marriage’ once, leading to criticism that the charity, which has close ties to the Church, is now reluctant to uphold marriage as the best environment for raising children.

    The Pope has today (9 Jan) made a fervent appeal for discrimination against Christians to end, following a huge increase in violence against Christians both in the Middle East and also in other parts of the world.

    The militant Islamist group Boko Haram issued an ultimatum on Sunday 1st January giving Christians living in northern Nigeria three days to leave the area. This followed a number of attacks by the militants on churches and other targets over Christmas leaving more than 40 people dead.
