In her blog, Philippa Taylor criticsed politicians for ignoring the views of more than 1.8 million people who signed the 'One of Us' petition, saying she hoped that European lawmakers will "stand up to our Government's bullying and to the heavily vested financial interests in destroying embryos for research".
