The UK has become the first country in the world to allow the creation of genetically-modified, 'three-parent babies'. The Human Fertilisation and Embryology (Mitochondrial Donation) Regulations 2015, which Parliament approved in February, took effect on Thursday (29 Oct).
Andrea described the development as "playing God" and undermining the "very pattern for family and human dignity that God has given to us."
