Andrew McClintock

Andrew McClintock, a Christian Magistrate sitting on the Family Panel at Sheffield Magistrates Court, was forced to resign because he was not allowed to opt-out of cases which would require him to place children in the care of homosexuals, believing that that was not in the best interests of children. He was told that he could not be screened from the cases and so felt the only option open to him was to resign. Mr McClintock lost his bid to have his freedom of conscience recognised by an employment tribunal.
