Tim Dieppe, Director of Islamic Affairs for Christian Concern, discusses the actions of riot police in France who dragged a priest out of a Parisian church to make way for a new car park.
Speaking to Russia Today, Tim points out that in days gone by religious priests will have been treated with immense respect, reverence and appropriate deference.
He adds that the actions, which came one day after the funeral of martyred priest Jacques Hamel, is a rebellion against the countries Christian heritage and symbolic of France opting for aggressive secularism.
