BPAS, a major UK abortion provider, has launched a new festive campaign offering free contraception over Christmas. BPAS are now offering women the opportunity to stock up with free morning-after pills following a short telephone conversation with a nurse.
A new law came into effect yesterday (5 December) which allows homosexual civil partnerships to be registered on religious premises in England and Wales for the first time.

Speaking at the Association's annual conference, Dr Helen Wright said that she had "long been concerned by the seeming erosion of the innocence of childhood in the 21st Century."
